Today, Melanie may or may not have (we're biased):

• Said "Melanie"
• Sang along with "Old MacDonald"... "E I E I O"
• Said "ball"
• Took her first few steps (more of a controlled fall, I think, but still...)

And all of this follows last night's "California Girl" eating of tofu at a sushi restaurant while wearing UGG boots.

Quick note...

... to put the previous two pictures into context. Melanie is cutting a molar the size of Nebraska and is NOT happy about it. These are two smiling, happy moments for her but grumpy, angry moments have been the norm over the last few days.

Winter in San Diego

Must have been in the high fifties yesterday. Brrr! Thankfully Melanie now allows us to put hats on her. Even ones that make her look like a mushroom.
